I wasn't to much of a fan of the head to toe denim look this past summer.  But then I just seen this photo of a denim shirt with a fancy gold skirt.  Hum..., I can rock this. This gives me new purpose to purchase a denim shirt now.  But for those of you who already have one you can give new life to your shirt.  Just mix it with a fancy skirt.  This is mixing causal and fancy together and getting it right. DROP IT LOW

Drop neck halter tops are a great summer staple.  I love these kind of halter tops. You can dress them up or down. They look great with a pair of jeans or over a swimsuit with shorts. This drop neck halter top is in my favorite wearable color, orange.  This particular style is sold at Nordstrom for $78.  I found some cheaper variations at Sears here and here.  What are your clothing staples for summer?  Is it a pair of shorts, flip flops, sun dresses?  Let me know.
