CLASSIC ELEMENTS

I've been on classic pieces for the past few weeks now. Maybe it's the weather. I think classic pieces are the foundation to any wardrobe. For example if you start off with a white shirt you can build upon that. You can layer it with a scarf, add a necklace, or a brooch. You can wear it unbuttoned or with the collar popped. There is so much to do with classic pieces. But sometimes it's nice to keep them simple and let your personality shine through. Ashleigh from The Daileigh pulls this look off perfectly by doing just that. Do you have a classic piece that you love?

  1. I love classic pieces! Thanks for the tips. I've been reading and seeing a lot about using scarves to spruce up a look. Where is a good place to find scarves?

  2. So sorry for the late reply....
I find scarfs wherever I can. Honestly some of my favorite places are vintage stores, thrift sotres, and Goodwill. These scarfs are older and add an extra style factor to your look. But if you don't like second hand I would suggest Burlington Coat Factory, Forever 21, H&M, and Marshalls for more affordable styles. But if you want to splurge a little go to the big department stores like Macys, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales. Their scarfs are nice and you might even like the cashmere scarfs. I hope this has helped. Once again sorry for the late reply.
